Project Runway

Ever since my last exam, I've been in complete summer mode! I accidentally forgot to watch Project Runway Canada's season final :S 

so i finally watched it, Po! It took me three days, I'm embarassed to say! but i'm so excited to say that, 

SUNNNNNNNNNNYYYYYY WONNNNNNNN!  he was definitely my favourite. I hated Jason. omg hated his designs! plus he seemed soooo creepy. gay or not?

I've Got A Crush

I kinda have this thing for Diane Kruger. I really don't know what it is, because honestly I dont think I've seen a movie with her in it. I really just LOOOOVE the things she wears, and she kinda has this air of 'coolness' about her! Plus, she always wears fantastic shoes!

If I owed this dress, I don't think I'd everrrr take it off! Of course, it's Marchesa <3

Why are there no movies about girls who smoke weed? Male stoner movies are huge right now! (Pineapple Express, Knocked Up, anything by Judd Apatow, etc.)

i am currently doing research and shit. meaning: i'm in bed watching Sex and the City looking at magazines and perusing around Bergdorf Goodman so..

1. miley cyrus should just go away.. completely

2.totally agree with the beyonce thing

3. i like kristen stewart! soooo what if she's  stoner! geez people.

i have found my favorite episode of Sex and The City, Season 6, episode 7: The Post-it Always Sticks twice. halarious.

Binge

I tend to over-purchase magazines in stressful times! There was one more magazine this month, but I've been so frazzled I'm not sure what it was or where it is. But here's what I'm thinking: 

1. I think Miley Cyrus needs to get off my magazine covers.

2. I am definately not a Beyonce fan either

3. I'm not entirely sure why I buy Cosmo, it's the same shit every month, with different pictures. One month doggy-style is huge, the next it's cowgirl. I kinda just have a girl crush on Whitney. welllll...more like i love her style!

4. I'm still not sure whether or not I like Kristen Stewart. She totally looks like a stoner, which makes me love her

5. The "Laughing Matter: Comedy's New Legends" spread in Vanity Fair was amazing. I'm loving the recreation of the famous Tom Ford, Scarlett Johansson, and Keira Knightley Vanity Fair cover with Paul Rudd, Johan Hill, Seth Rogen, and Jason Segal. I love every comedian they feature, from Russell Brand to Amy Phoeler. (love her new show, btw)

Once I'm done reading them all, cover to cover, I'll expand past "I hate whos on the cover"

This may take time! Geeeze, i need for exams to end!

Spring, Is That You?

FINALLY!

The weather in this city has been wild the past few weeks, one day it's 15 degrees, the next it's snowing. But, it seems that the last week of finals have brought some beautiful weather! (This weekend it's supposed to reach 17 degrees, which is huge for April) This Thursday marks the last lady's night of the 2008/2009 school year! And to honour the night, I am planning on wearing these fabulous feather strappy sandals. I got them online, actually - they're a little more "hookery" than I would like, but I still adore them - and I've been dying for the perfect occasion to wear them. I feel they kinda welcome spring nicely, haha! I'm still debating on the rest of the outfit! ...I really should be studying!

So, it seems I've turned out to be a very forgetful person! Just last week I lost my favourite Ralph Lauren aviators that I had surprisingly kept in amazing condition for 2 years - huge in my world! I left them at the sketchiest bar I have ever been to, I went back within ten minutes of leaving and they had already been stolen! One thing I've learned about this town is, Sandwich Town may look nice, but do NOT go into the bars! 

Anyways, summer, for me, starts in... SIX DAYS! With that date quickly approaching, my deadline to find fabulous, face framing sunglasses is also creeping up! I'm debating over the style - the classic ray bans, returning to the aviators, stretching way back into my closet and getting massive bug eye shades, or trying something totally new. I have no idea what I want right now, and with a limited student "budget", I have to make a wise choice here. This is eyewear!

On The Hunt

oh, this hat is fabulously large!

Exams will be over soon, which means summer is just around the corner! With this, comes wedding season. 

I have a couple amazing weddings to attend and I'm looking to fully embrace my British heritage and pull out the "wedding hat". Here's the issue: I'm a poor student looking for a Philip Treacy quality chapeau -something like SJP or a member of the Royal Family would wear. 

Above are a few looks I'm absolutely gaga for! I return to Toronto in two weeks and some much needed vintage exploring is needed! I'll keep you posted ;)
