Some Favourites from Gucci Fall 2011 RTW

Although Gucci's designer, Frida Giannini, cited Anjelica Huston and Florence Welch (florence and the machines) as her major influences for this collection, im really getting a 'carmen san diego' vibe from this collection...

don't get me wrong, i can definitely see the influence of both ammmazing women, but i just can't stop thinking about WHERE IN THE WOLD IS CARMEN SAN DIEGOOOOO?!

my mom was a bridesmaid in a wedding back in the 80s and the dress was exactly this colour. i loved it so much she cut the front out of it so i wouldnt trip over the long length. once again, gucci brought me back to my not so long ago childhood. 

this look is definitely the favourite. 

loving gucci this season. drape me in gucci + fur, and ill be the happiest girl in the world!
