Lady Dragons

I decided that this summer and spring i just want to dress all cutesy, maybe even princessy?
I am deeming this summer/sping "Pink, Pretty Love. "

These are the Vivienne Westwood heels that I was telling you about, thead, that I am definitely purchasing!
I found that her designs and collections are really..weird. Interestingly weird of course! but i love these out of everything she's done, its a collaboration between Vivienne Westwood Anglomania and Melissa Shoes.

I just want them. I want them to live in my closet and on my feet under pretty skirts and flowy dresses <3

I love this nude colour too, i just wish instead of a flower button, it was a heart!
anyways, this is on my needs list!

KING TUT

M and I went to see the King Tut the day after Valentines and OMG if you're ever DT Toronto, GO!!
It was honestly the greatest exhibit I've been to at the AGO.
I could only  take pictures outside because the artifacts are SO old! That kinda sucked, but it was absolutely amazing to see things over 3000 years old. SOOOOO much gold! <3 my fav.

GO! GO! GO!

I Think I'm Addicted to Wedges...

I bought these thinking spring was just around the corner in Windsor. However, a foot of heavy snow fell last night and it seems winter is here to stay for a while.
So for now, these 6inch beauties are purely for display.

oh im in love...

Tragic Day in Fashion.

Well, just like all the other fashionatics.. I'm in shock. I might have teared a bit as well.
Lee Alexander committed suicide.. sad.
from a BBC article:
"In 1996, the man nicknamed "the hooligan of English fashion", with his close-cropped hair and Doc Martens, was named head designer at the Paris couture house of Givenchy."
"On 3 February, he wrote on his Twitter page that his mother Joyce had passed away the day before, adding: "RIP mumxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx." Four days later he wrote that he had had an "awful week" but said "friends have been great", adding: "now i have to some how pull myself together".
Thead, i enjoyed your post (btw) I've been looking at some McQueen lines and such and I thought "I bet Gaga is completely heartbroken"

Damn.. What a sick video.
He was the perfect choice to do the wardrobe for it.
Thead, I remember the first time you and I saw these.

Some of my favorites:
Spring '07

Spring '08
geez, this man was a genius. it is clear through his work.
crystal clear.

Fall 2008 Ready-to-wear Collection:
<3
Kinda a southern-belle-of the ball feel eh?
I would walk the streets of T.O. like this.
fur cape= love.

Goodbye McQueen.. who will take over now? no one will be able to replace you dear man.

RIP Alexander McQueen

I'm absolutely devastated as I write this post.
A fashion genius, Alexander McQueen has taken himself from this world, way too soon. Hopefully, for his sake, he's in a better place, but he's definitely left the fashion world with a hole in its heart. He was truly a magnificent designer and revolutionary.
I first fell in love with the brilliance that is McQueen back in the day, with his Fall 2005 Collection. I remember watching it over and over again on Fashion Television, and it truly ignited my love for fashion.

However, what I assume to be his last collection, Spring 2010, was just as amazing, if not more so than his previous shows.

The clothing was sublime, the shoes were amazing, and the collection transcended time.
Typical McQueen..

Goodbye Alexander McQueen.
RIP 1969-2010
